Population About 2100, very similar in size to Woolpit.
Where is it? 10 km south-west of Evreux, 50 km south of Rouen, 100 km from Paris.

Sports The sports centre offers basketball, a climbing wall, gymnastics, tennis, and martial arts. There are also football, cycling, bowls, and hunting clubs.
Cultural activities ”Le Bouquet Normand• - a folk dance group, a music club, a cultural centre, over 60‘s club, and a library. Nearby at Caugé there is a museum of Norman rural life.
Places to visit In Evreux the 10th century Notre Dame cathedral has exceptional stained-glass windows; there is a 15th century clock tower opposite the town hall. You can walk along the old town walls by the river, and go shopping.
Conches, in the opposite direction, has old houses, a ruined castle, remarkable subterranean passages and an extensive forest nearby.
The river Iton The river rises 40 miles south-west of La Bonneville and eventually joins the Eure and the Seine. The Iton is not navigable.
Shops There is a pharmacy, baker‘s, butcher‘s, hairdresser, florist, tobacconist, antiques shop, second-hand dealer and a floor-tile shop.
Other services These include a Post Office, a garage, a campsite, restaurants, and domestic services: builder, plumber, electrician, painter. There are also medical facilities: a health centre, doctors, dentist and ambulance.
Education The nursery school has 4 classes with over 100 pupils, and the primary school 9 classes with over 200 pupils.
